About Replit
Replit started as an online code editor and has become one of the easiest ways to go from an idea to a working app. You describe what you want, for example "a booking app for my yoga studio with a login and a calendar", and Replit Agent plans it, writes the code, sets up a database and gives you a live preview to test.
Because everything runs in the browser, there is nothing to install, and publishing to a live URL takes a click. Plan mode lets you agree the approach with the Agent before it builds, and database rollback lets you undo mistakes. Developers can still open the code and edit it by hand at any point.
The free Starter plan includes a daily Agent allowance and one published app. Core costs $20 per month (less on yearly billing) and includes $20 of monthly credits, the full Agent and unlimited published apps. Pro, at $100 per month, adds parallel Agent tasks and more collaborators. Paid Agent work is priced by effort, so complex requests cost more; set a spending limit while you learn.
