About Cursor
Cursor is a code editor designed around AI rather than one with AI added on. It looks and feels like VS Code, so extensions and shortcuts carry over, but the agent is at the centre: describe a change and Cursor plans it, edits the files involved and shows you a diff to accept or reject.
On higher plans, Cloud Agents work on tasks in the background, Automations run recurring jobs, and Bugbot reviews pull requests for bugs. Cursor uses its own models (including Composer) and, on paid tiers, third-party models billed at API list prices from prepaid credit.
Cursor's plans changed in 2026: it is now sold as part of The X Subscription, which bundles Cursor with Grok and X. New customers can choose Free, Plus ($8/month), Premium ($30), Super ($100) or Ultra ($200), and Teams seats start at $30 per user. Older Pro and Pro+ plans continue for existing customers. Check the current plan details before buying, as this is changing quickly.
