Last week Sony had released the PS3 firmware 2.40 that caused lot of problems for many PS3 users. As a result Sony pulled the firmware 2.40 off its servers. The PlayStation blog is reporting that Sony has solved the problem and has released PS3 firmware version 2.41. According to the blog, for a limited number of users, the XMB wouldn’t display after the update was installed and as a result the system caused problems after the update. The company has extended their apologies to the PlayStation community for any inconvenience and adds that now we’ll be looking forward to seeing everyone online and racking up those trophies.
