Vodafone to Offer First Samsung Bada OS Based Wave Phone

Vodafone UK has started taking pre-orders for upcoming Samsung Wave, the first handset to run on the new bada software platform from Samsung. The Samsung Wave will be available for free on a £25, 24-month price plan, including 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of mobile data.

The Samsung Wave features a stunning 3.3” Super AMOLED screen, and uses Samsung’s HDTV technology to deliver crisp, rich images. And all of this functionality is delivered by a speedy 1GHz processor to give you a seamless experience. The phone uses TouchWiz UI and supports Samsung Apps, the dedicated bada app store.

Other features on the handset are 5-megapixel camera, 2GB onboard storage, Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS and microSD card slot. Vodafone will launch Samsung Wave on 1st June. You can get more information about the phone on Vodafone’s website.
