Samsung Infuse the Thinnest 4G Smartphone

AT&T and Samsung have announced the new Samsung Infuse, the thinnest 4G smartphone in US. The handset comes with 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 1.2GHz processor, 8-megapixel camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera, 720p video recording, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and microSD card slot (2GB card included). The handset is 8.9mm at its thinnest and 9.24mm at its thickest.

The Android 2.2 based handset comes with HSDPA CAT 14 and HSUPA CAT 6 4G support, meaning it can download at up to 21.1 Mbit/s and upload at 5.76 Mbit/s. It will come preloaded with a version of Angry Birds and Samsung will give $25 credit to download movie content from Samsung Media Hub.

Samsung Infuse 4G will be available in AT&T stores and online at on May 15 and will cost $199.99 with a two-year contract (Minimum $15 data plan required). Check out the hands-on video of Samsung Infuse from Phone Arena below.
