According to AppleInsider “rumored September 5th special event that would bring new iPods is becoming increasingly likely”. The supplies of iPods have been extremely low at Apple’s dealerships, this is a strong sign that Apple is clearing its channel inventory before they launch the new line of iPods. Apple could also use the event to launch iTunes TV shows and Movies outside US. There is no concrete information on how many different iPod models will be released or whether any other product will be released but all indications are that Apple will have an event very soon and at least one new iPod model will be released.
