Apple Releases iPhone and iPod touch Firmware Update 2.2.1

Apple today released the latest firmware update 2.2.1 for iPhone and iPod touch. The update weighs 246.4MB and contains bug fixes and stability improvements. You can download the update by using Check for Update feature in iTunes when you connect your device. Apple’s release note with the update says:

  • Improved general stability of Safari
  • Fixed issue where some images saved from Mail do not display correctly in Saved Photos
  • Fixed issue that caused some Apple Lossless audio files to skip during playback.
