AMD Radeon HD 78XX and 77XX Graphics Cards Coming in February

AMD just launched the new super fast, higher end Radeon HD 7970 graphics card that is based on new 28nm manufacturing process and the company is not stopping there, they are bringing 28nm goodies to low and mid range graphics cards with 78XX and 77XX series graphics cards in February.

AMD will target the lower end of graphics card market with Radeon HD 7770 and HD 7750. The Cape Verde XT chip based HD 7770 will feature 896 stream processors, 56 texture units, 16 ROPs, 900MHz clock speed, 1375MHz memory clock speed, 1GB GDDR5 memory and 128-bit memory interface for 88GB/s memory bandwidth.

The HD 7750 will be based on Cape Verde PRO chip featuring 832 stream processors, 52 texture units, 16ROPs, 900MHz clock speed, 1GB GDDR5 memory and 128-bit memory interface for 80GB/s memory bandwidth. The Radeon HD 7770 will be priced $149 and Radeon HD 7750 will be priced $139.

The mid range graphics card lineup will include HD 7870 and HD 7850 featuring 256-bit memory bus with more stream processors and higher clock speed. The two cards will sell for $299 and $249 respectively. [Via Fudzilla]
