A buyer of the new MacBook is reporting that he emailed Steve Jobs about the issues with the new glass trackpad and hinge on the laptop and he got a prompt reply from Apple representative via telephone. Like few other MacBook owners, he had issues with new trackpad’s failure to register every physical click and display lid being less stiff. Apple’s representative who called the user informed him that the company is looking into the complaints, but has no immediate resolution for trackpad problem, where as the new hinge was functioning as designed and the display lid is intended to be less stiff.
In other Apple spokesperson related news, Apple’s spokesperson Bill Evans told Macworld “Our holiday line-up is set.” Meaning, Apple will not release any new models till the end of 2008. It was reported by Macnn on Monday that Apple might refresh its iMac and Mac mini desktop models next week on November 10th. The news for Macworld now points that we will see updated desktop lineup in January when Steve Jobs will give his keynote speech at the Macworld Expo 2009.
