The second netbook Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam Edition comes in vibrant red with a peony flower inspired design and as you would have guessed, it is aimed at fashion centric woman. Configuration-wise the netbook is almost similar to the black Mini 1000 except it comes in only 10.2-inch screen size. The Vivienne Tam Edition will ship in mid-December. The last model in the lineup is HP Mini 1000 with MIE (Mobile Internet Experience), it is a Linux based netbook that comes preloaded with applications designed for browsing, emailing, chatting, online video, photo viewing and music listening. The Mini 1000 MIE has the same configuration as Mini 1000 but its starting price is $20 cheaper as it uses Linux.
