Dell has added a new 24-inch model to its XPS One all-in-one desktop lineup. The new desktop has a 16:9 aspect ratio screen with 1920 x 1080 (1080p) resolution. The XPS One 24 is the first all-in-one desktop to feature a 2.33GHz Core 2 Quad processor and GeForce 9600M GT graphics card. According to Dell the new desktop comes with integrated 25W JBL 2.1 audio system and HD capable TV tuner.
Dell will start shipping two stock models in mid-November, the base model will come with quad-core Intel processor, 4GB RAM, 320GB hard drive, integrated Intel GMA 4500 graphics and Sound Blaster Audigy HD chipset for $1.699. The higher end model will replace the integrated graphics card for dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics card and will have a bigger 750GB hard drive. It will be priced $1,999. Both the models will have optional Blu-ray drive and they will be available in three colors Midnight Gray, Pure White and (PRODUCT) RED.
