HP has launched two new eco-friendly desktops a6645f Verde Special Edition and a6655f Phoenix Special Edition. Both the desktops use lower energy AMD processor and come in a completely recyclable packaging. The a6645f comes with dual core 2.5GHz Athlon 64 X2 CPU, 500GB hard drive and up to 5GB RAM for $579. The second model a6655f comes with quad core 1.8GHz Phenom X4 processor, 640GB hard drive and up to 5GB RAM for $659.
Along with the two desktop, HP also announced w2558hc – a 25.5-inch LCD display. The display has rich color output and a 2-megapixel webcam with HDMI port, 15-in-1 card reader and 4-port USB hub. HP has not listed complete specifications of the new display, but it should be priced around $599 when it is released next month.
