Vodafone Releases Demonstration Video for BlackBerry StormSubmitted by lalit on October 15, 2008 - 7:25pm.
Both Vodafone and Verizon have released almost all the details about the upcoming BlackBerry Storm. But, just in case you were wondering, how the phone’s OS looks and how it works. Vodafone has released video of few of the application and how they work. The video shows Internet surfing, camera functions, emailing, messaging, mapping, video player and music player. Not much can be said about how good the phone is by seeing a demo/ad video, but one thing strikes out in the video. The OS looks almost same as the one that ships on BlackBerry Bold, which was not designed to work on touchscreen phone. The interface that was designed to be used with a pointing device or scroll wheel will not work on a touchscreen that uses finger for input. The font in the video look very small and the menu items also look very small to be used by finger. We hope that it is because of the video and BlackBerry has designed the complete interface to be used by finger. [Via Engadget]
