Alleged iPhone 7 Specs Leaked with Specific Camera Details

A leak posted on Weibo has revealed specs of upcoming iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, giving specific details about cameras on both the devices along with other information. The new iPhones will have same resolution screens as the current models and both will feature the new A10 processor with M10 motion co-processor.

On the camera side, The smaller iPhone 7 will have 12-megapixel unit featuring f/1.9 aperture (compared to f/2.2 on iPhone 6S) and bigger 1.3 µm pixel size, with 1/2.6” sensor (compared to 1/3” sensor on iPhone 6s). The bigger iPhone 7 Plus will feature a new dual camera system with two 12-megapixel 1/3” sensors and f/1.9 aperture.

One other spec that was posted in the leak was RAM, iPhone 7 will have 2GB LPDDR4 RAM and 7 Plus will have 3GB LPDDR4 RAM. More RAM on the Plus model is likely to support the new dual camera system as it will need more image processing.

Apple has already announced September 7th press event, where we would find out exact details about the new iPhones.
