MacRumors has posted images of a screen protector that is designed for the rumored iPhone 5. The first image shows an elongated home button, and a wider hole for speaker and front facing camera on top. The second image shows that the screen protector is bigger than current iPhone 4, especially its wider indicating a bigger screen.

The second iPhone related news comes from Bloomberg, Adam Satariano of Bloomberg believes that the recent rush order at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) was from Broadcom to meet increased demand from Apple.

“Broadcom is the largest link between Apple and Taiwan Semiconductor,” said Richard Davenport, a Bloomberg supply chain analyst, in a report. “Broadcom appears to be a likely candidate for Taiwan Semiconductor’s rush orders.”

Broadcom supplies Bluetooth and WiFi chips for iPhone, iPod and iPad. And the rush order could have been for any of the current generation products or upcoming new products.

And finally news from China, China Mobile’s Chairman, Wang Jianzhou said in an interview “We discussed this issue with Apple. We hope Apple will produce a new iPhone with TD-LTE. We have already got a positive answer from Apple.” This would indicate that Apple might develop an iPhone supporting TD-LTE standard, but we don’t think we will see such a device before end of 2012. As China Mobile won’t start large scale TD-LTE network deployment before second half of 2012.
