It was rumored that Microsoft will give BUILD conference attendees a Samsung tablet featuring upcoming Windows 8 operating system. And according to the leaked image posted by Michelle Hu on Weibo, those rumors are about to come true in few hours. The image shows a Samsung labeled box with a tablet inside and “the /build/” write on top of the box indicating that table in the image are specifically for the BUILD conference.

Vlad Savov of This is My Next wrote, “The screen ratio looks likely to be 16:9, but that’s all we can really glean from this one picture. Earlier speculation identified a Samsung slab as the first Windows 8 demo device and if the rest of that scuttlebutt is to be believed, the processor inside is a quad-core Intel CPU, likely (and necessarily, given the form factor) an ultra-low voltage part.

Within few hours we will know what the actual specs of the tablet are, but we seriously doubt that it will have a quad-core Intel processor, maybe a quad core ARM processor from NVIDIA or Qualcomm.
