If the 103-inch Panasonic plasma HDTV did not impress you, the company is showing a 150-inch plasma at the IFA show in Berlin. The 150-inch HDTV has 4K resolution for ultra clear picture quality. Panasonic is not giving any information about whether the massive plasma HDTV will ship or will it remain a concept.
Along with the massive 150-inch plasma, Panasonic is also showcasing new super slim prototype plasma HDTVs in 50-inch, 58-inch and 60-inch screen sizes. The plasma HDTVs is just 24.7 mm thick making them one-fourth the size of recently launched VIERA plasma HDTV range. Panasonic says that the new HDTVs will also weigh half the present plasma TVs weight. The super slim TVs will also include Wireless HD, potentially requiring only the power cable to work. Again Panasonic didn’t announce a date for when we will see the technology in the market.
