Intel will be updating its CPU lineup this month. They will start by adding a 45nm quad core processor – Core 2 Quad Q8200 that will have 2.33GHz clock speed and will be priced $224. Intel will drop the price of this processor to $203 in October when it starts shipping processors based on Nehalem architecture. The company will also add a new dual-core Pentium E5200 CPU with clock speed of 2.5GHz for $84. The third CPU that Intel will add will be 65nm Conroe based Celeron 450 with 2.2GHz clock speed and a price tag of $53. |
