Acer Aspire Timeline 1810T Ultraportable Laptop Now OfficialSubmitted by lalit on July 28, 2009 - 7:09pm.
Acer today officially announced the new Aspire Timeline 1810T ultraportable laptop. Acer says that the new Aspire 1810T delivers the perfect balance of mobility and performance. The 11.6” ultraportable is less than 1” thick and comes with full size keyboard, HD video on 16:9 aspect ratio display and 8 hours of battery life. The laptop will weigh just three pounds and ship in Ruby Red, Diamond Black and Sapphire Blue colors. The Aspire 1810T will feature Intel Core 2 Solo processor, up to 4GB DDR2 RAM, 250GB hard drive, integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics chip, webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth, optional 3G support, USB ports, HDMI, VGA and 5-in-1 card reader. The laptop will measure 11.22” x 8.03” x 0.87”/1.18” with a six cell battery. The starting price of 1810T will be $600 and it will go up to $900 for top of the line model. Single core processor and integrated Intel graphics chip are the two things that would stop us from buying this laptop, as no modern operating system would perform satisfactorily on this hardware. Acer Aspire Timeline 1810T will ship next month in Europe, no word when it will come to US.
