Samsung Epic 4G will be Sprint’s second 4G (WiMAX) capable handset. SDX Developers posted image of Epic 4G fact sheet showing complete specifications of the upcoming smartphone. The Android 2.1 based Galaxy S series smartphone will come with 4-inch AMOLED touchscreen, 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor, 512MB RAM, 1GB onboard storage, 5-megapixel camera, 720p video recording, front facing VGA camera, 4G WiMAX, 3G EVDO Rev A., WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and microSD card slot (16GB card included).

Samsung Epic 4G will measure 4.9” x 2.54”x 0.56” and weigh 5.46 ounces. The phone will feature a 1500 mAh battery for up to 5 hours of 3G/4G use. No information on when the Epic 4G will actually ship, but we expect that Sprint will launch it before end of Q3 2010.
