9to5mac is reporting that Apple will not only release the new MacBook Airs this week, but also introduce new Mac Pro models. According to their source Mr. X, part numbers for both the new Mac Pro and MacBook Air models have appeared, hinting at a release soon. There are total of four MacBook Air part numbers and four Mac Pro part numbers. On the MacBook Air side, two will be 11-inch model and two will be 13-inch models featuring new Intel Sandy Bridge processor, Thunderbolt port and more RAM. And on Mac Pro side, it is rumored that the Pro desktop will see complete redesign with narrower, rackable enclosure and Intel new Xeon processor with Thunderbolt port. Out of the four models one will be Mac Pro Server and other three will be regular Mac Pros. In other Apple related news, the company today sent out emails to the developers asking them to submit their OS X Lion apps for Mac Store. The emails says, “OS X Lion, the eight major release of the world’s most advanced operating system, will soon be available to millions of Mac users around the world. Submit your Lion apps for review now so they can be on the Mac App Store when Lion ships this month.” This email is an indication that Apple is in the final stages of preparation for OS X Lion launch. It is very like OS X Lion will be launched this week.
