Pocketnow has posted press shots of upcoming Nokia N9. The handset has an all aluminum iPod nano like design, but with glass touchscreen covering the complete front. The shots show that N9 will be available in three colors pink, blue and black.

After the shots were leaked Engadget posted more details about the phone including specs. The handset will be called N9-01 and will ship in Q3 2011. It will have 960 x 540 screen, 8-megapixel camera and will be marginally thicker than the iPhone 4.

Even though the handset looks very sleek and sexy, it will be dead on arrival because it will be based on MeeGo platform. Nokia has already announced that they have stopped MeeGo development, which would means that this might be the first and last MeeGo handset with no future platform support.
