Yesterday, 9to5mac posted a vague report claiming 4 out of 5 Mac systems getting an update at WWDC. However, today they have added some concrete information to that report. Mark Gurman has posted that Mac Pro will be one of the systems getting an update at WWDC on Monday June 11th. Mark wrote:

Sources have been able to provide some part numbers and prices to prove this:

  • MD770LL/A – K5BPLUS,BETTER,BTR-USA
  • MD771LL/A – K5BPLUS,BEST,BTR-USA
  • MD772LL/A – K5BPLUS,ULTIMATE,BTR-USA

The pricing is similar to current Mac Pro models.

Sources are unsure of the feature-set coming with the new Mac Pro, but these sources say that there will be three configurations. Two standard versions of the Mac Pro and a third version with OS X Server capabilities.

If the prices remain similar to current Mac Pro lineup, the entry level (BETTER version) Mac Pro will start at $2,499, the mid level (BEST version) will be priced $3,499 and the top level (ULTIMATE version) will be priced $4,999. This WWDC 2012 keynote will be one of the biggest Apple has ever done.
