There have been many rumors floating around about the upcoming Galaxy S III. And now Korean Digital Daily is reporting that they have heard from reliable sources that Samsung won’t follow the suit of other Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) devices by using only soft button for basic menu functions. The Galaxy S III will keep the hardware home button and will not have a completely buttonless front like Galaxy Nexus or other upcoming Android 4.0 handsets.

The new handset will also use the 5 column UI layout found on the Galaxy Note and it won’t have the four column layout found on most Samsung Android handsets. Samsung will use the 5 column layout because of the bigger screen size and higher resolution on Galaxy S III.

According to Korean Digital Daily, the Galaxy S III will be launched in May and it should start shipping before end of May. [Via Unwired View]
