Rumors are that after new MacBook Pro launch, iMac will be next in line for an update. Yesterday, we reported that Apple will be using anti-reflective glass for the new iMac screen and today we have report from How to Arena, which states Apple will launch the updated iMac on June July Time Frame. The new iMac will be based on new Intel Ivy Bridge Core i5 and Core i7 processors that will be released by end of this month. Faheem Saeed wrote:

Apple is planning to refresh iMacs with Intel’s 22nm-based Core i5 and Core i7 Ivy Bridge processors in June-July time frame. A reliable tipster in Chinese supply chain told us that the company is currently ramping up production of thinner 15 inch version of MacBook Pros with same processors which are reportedly coming later this month. According to our source, Ivy Bridge equipped iMacs would be released in June-July time frame this year.

We have also been hearing similar rumors about iMac update, which would indicate that Apple will have an action packed summer this year with redesigned MacBook Pro launch in next 4-6 weeks, iMac launch in June-July, WWDC and Mountain Lion in June, iPhone 5 in July-August and MacBook Air update before August.
