Apple today introduced their new 4-inch iPhone SE with matte-chamfered edges and a color-matched stainless steel Apple logo. Even though the new iPhone looks almost identical to iPhone 5s from the outside, the inside have been completely changed. The iPhone SE features 64-bit A9 chip, a 12-megapixel iSight camera with live Photos and 4K video and Touch ID with Apple Pay. Apple has also updated the wireless chipsets for three times faster WiFi and 50 percent faster LTE. The front facing camera has also been updated to HD camera with Retina Flash for perfect selfies.

Apple claims that the new iPhone SE is the most powerful four-inch smartphone, offering two times faster CPU and three times faster GPU performance compared to iPhone 5s. And with the A9 processor it might be one of the fastest smartphones available today in any size. Like on the big brother iPhone 6s, the A9 processor also brings along M9 motion coprocessor for features like always on “Hey Siri” and a range of fitness tracking capabilities like measuring steps and distance.

iPhone SE will be available in space gray, silver, gold and rose gold metallic finishes in 16GB and 64GB models starting at $399 (US) from Apple’s retail stores, Apple Authorized Resellers and select carriers. Customers in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore, the UK, US Virgin Islands and the US will be able to order iPhone SE beginning Thursday, March 24, with availability beginning Thursday, March 31.
