Apple has updates its iMac and Mac mini desktop lines, including a 24-inch iMac that is priced more affordably than ever before and a Mac mini with powerful new integrated graphics. iMac line starts with the 20-inch iMac for only $1,199 with a 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of 1066 MHz DDR3 memory, a 320GB Serial ATA hard drive and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics. The 24-inch iMac features a beautiful 1920 x 1200 pixel widescreen display that offers 30 percent more screen real estate than the 20-inch model, and starts at just $1,499. The 24-inch iMac with 2.66GHz processor 4GB DDR3 RAM and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics is priced $1,499. The second 24-inch model priced $1,799 comes with 2.93GHz processor, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 640GB hard drive and 256MB NVIDIA GeForce GT120 graphics. While the top of the line 24-inch model that features 3.06GHz processor, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 512MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 130 graphics and 1TB hard drive is priced $2,199. The new Mac mini will have two models, the $599 model will come with 2.0GHz processor, 1GB DDR3 RAM, 120GB hard drive and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics. Whereas the $799 model will have more RAM (2GB) and more storage (320GB), other configurations will remain same. The iMac and Mac mini desktops are available now on Apple’s online store.
