My Apple Guide further claims that both mini and iMac will use NVIDIA’s chipset, whereas the Pro will get the new Xeon processors. Hardmac has posted a rumor contradicting the March 24th release date of iMac and Mac mini. Also, an image of Mac mini’s packaging has been leaked. The image shows the back of mini on the packaging with WiFi, iLife and NVIDIA chipset symbols. In other Apple news, AppleInsider is reporting that Apple will introduce new Time Capsule and Airport Extreme soon. Their information is based on regulatory filings that Apple made for the two upcoming devices with Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Apple filed for a new Airport Express device in January and was granted FCC approval today, whereas the Time Capsule filing was done in August 2008 and it was also granted today. AppleInsider notes that new Apple products are released within days after FCC approval is granted. Additionally, recent discount on Time Capsule models on Amazon are also an indication that new models are coming soon.
