Last week, Apple sent out invites for a March 2nd press event and it’s very obvious from the image on the invite that the event will focus on iPad 2 launch. However, it is rumored that the press event will not be only about iPad. Apple is going to launch few new products at the event along with the iPad and these products will be related to iPad and iOS. So, here is the list of rumored products Apple will announce tomorrow at the press event:

iPad 2: Well, as we said before it’s almost confirmed that Apple will announce iPad 2 at the event. Rumors are the second-generation iPad will be thinner and lighter with an improved display offering better readability outdoors. Hardware specs of the iPad 2 will be dual core 1.2GHz Cortex A9 processer (A5), Imagination SGX543 GPU, 512MB RAM, front VGA and back 2-megapixel cameras, and Qualcomm multimode CDMA/GSM chip. On the software side, the new iPad will get FaceTime for video calls and Photo Booth. iPad 2 will ship within a week or two. And, yes rumors are than the WiFi model will cost just $399, which we think is wrong and Apple will maintain the price points.

MobileMe Update: The new MobileMe will bring cloud storage services for music, TV shows and movies. The service will allow users to stream music to any of their devices just by logging in MobileMe. Rumors are MobileMe will now be free for all iOS users.

iOS 5: Like every March, Apple will introduce the next version of iOS at the March 2 press event. The next generation iOS 5 is rumored to bring advance voice navigation features, new Maps API with free turn-by-turn navigation, integrations with new MobileMe services, better notification system and improved multitasking features.

Smaller/ Cheaper iPhone: We have heard for years that Apple is working on a smaller and cheaper iPhone model. But one of our not so reliable sources says that Apple might show the new handset at the March 2nd event. We have no other information about the handset. However, it will be really interesting if Apple shows the rumored cheaper iPhone.
