Dell Launches Core i7 Based Studio XPS 435 Desktop

Dell today quietly launched their new Studio XPS 435 desktop that uses Intel’s Core i7 processor along with X58 chipset. No information about starting price or base configuration is given, but you can get up to 3.2GHz Core i7 965 Extreme Edition processor, up to 24GB tri-channel 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM and up to 1GB video RAM via ATI Radeon HD4870 graphics card.
Dell designed the XPS 435 with expandability in mind with user accessible 6 memory DIMM slots for up to 24GB memory and 3 hard drive bays for up 4.5TB storage. The case is designed for tool-less entry, which helps make upgrades virtually effortless. The Studio XPS 435 desktop is tailored in pure white and translucent black with crimson orange accents to give it a bold look.
The other specifications are Windows Vista 64-bit, Intel 7.1 high definition audio with optional Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi cards, Blu-ray drive, Ethernet, optional WiFi and Bluetooth wireless, eight USB ports, one eSATA, IEEE 1394a port, multi card reader and surround sound output. No word on pricing or availability yet.
