We knew that Dell would start shipping Inspiron Mini 10 by end of February and it is now confirmed with addition of Mini 10 to Dell product lineup on its website. The company has added complete details about available colors and tech specs, but there is no information about pricing or release date yet on the website.
The Mini 10 will come with Intel Atom (1.33Ghz or 1.6GHz) processor, 10.1-inch 16:9 aspect ratio LCD screen and multitouch trackpad. You will be able to select from 6 color and 5 artist design options. According to Dell, the Mini 10 will be HD capable and it will support up to 720p video using Intel’s integrated graphics media accelerator 500, even though its screen has maximum resolution of 1024 x 576.
The other hardware option will be up to 2GB DDR2 RAM (1GB standard), up to 160GB storage, 3-cell battery with 3 hours battery life (6 cells optional), 1.3-megapixel webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth, multi card reader and HDMI output. The laptop will measure 10.28” x 7.19” x 1.25” and weigh 2.86 pounds with 3 cell battery. It is believed that Dell will start selling the Mini 10 on 26th February.
