Dell Officially Launches Multitouch Latitude XT2 Tablet

Rumors about Dell’s XT2 have been going around for past few months, but today Dell made the XT2 with multitouch official. The second generation Latitude tablet is the first Dell computer with multitouch support that uses pinches, swipes and other gestures to perform various functions like zoom, scroll and rotate image via the touchscreen.
 The new XT2 will comes with choice of two LCD display with LED backlit, one designed for indoor use and the other one designed for use in daylight. It will also have two processor choices 1.2GHz Core 2 Duo ULV SU9300 and 1.4GHz Core 2 Duo ULV SU9400. The base system will cost $2,399 with 1.2GHz processor, 1GB DDR3 RAM, 80GB hard drive and external media bay for an optical or second hard drive. You will be able to configure your system by optioning 1.4GHz processor, up to 5GB RAM, 120GB hard drive or 128GB SSD.
