Sony has launched their new E-series that comes in five translucent, high-gloss colors – Caribbean green, iridescent blue, coconut white, hibiscus pink and lava black. The E-series will also come in three matte colors – maple brown, silver white and gunmetal. The 15.5 inch laptop features Core i3 or i5 processor, up to 8GB RAM, up to 500GB hard drive, DVD burner or optional Blu-ray drive, WiFi, Bluetooth, eSATA/ USB port, 3 USB, HDMI output and multicard reader. The webcam on the laptop has face-tracking technology to keep you in focus when you are chatting with friends and family. Battery life on the notebook is about 3.5 hours and it weighs 5.95 pounds. The VAIO E series notebooks will retail for about $700 and is available for pre-order on Sony’s website.
