Sanyo Unveils XACTI CG110 Camcorder Capable of 14.4-Megapixel Stills

Sanyo has added new high-definition camcorder DMX-CG110 to XACTI lineup that is capable of taking 1080p video at 60fps and 14.4-megapixel still images. The new camcorder has familiar XACTI pistol-grip form factor. It comes with 16GB of onboard flash memory and SD card slot supporting both SDHC and SDXC standards for up to 64GB of additional storage. XACTI CG110 offers 2.7-inch LCD screen, 5x optical zoom, digital image stabilization, face detection, stereo speakers and flash. Sanyo says that the camcorder can take 190 still shots or 60 minutes of full HD video on single charge. Ports on the camera include USB, HDMI, and composite A/V out. Sanyo XACTI DMX-CG110 will ship in April in black and red colors. Price yet not announced.
