McGraw-Hill’s CEO Terry MrGraw confirmed in an interview with CNBC that their company has worked with Apple for past few months to bring textbooks to the Apple tablet, which will be announced tomorrow. Terry also said in the interview that the tablet will be based on iPhone OS and will be just terrific device. In the video above Terry McGraw talks about Apple tablet after 2 minutes and 45 seconds and he says:

“Yes, they’ll make their announcement tomorrow on this one. We have worked with Apple for quite a while. And the tablet is going to be based on the iPhone operating system and so it will be transferable. So what you are going to be able to do now is we have a consortium of e-books. And we have 95% of all our materials that are in e-book format on that one. So now with the tablet you’re going to open up the higher education market, the professional market. The tablet is going to be just really terrific.”

It looks like Terry is really excited about the Apple tablet, as he wasn’t able to keep his mouth shut for few more hours. Apple will never work with McGraw-Hill for a product launch again.
