In a promotional email sent by Intel to Retail Edge Program members, the company has revealed Apple upcoming Core i5 processor based MacBook Pro laptop. The promotional email says:
Current generation MacBook Pro lineup uses Core 2 Duo processors. It is rumored that Apple will update the laptop lineup later this month with Core i5 processors. Intel officially launched the new laptop processor lineup that included Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors last week at CES. And at the launch event one of the Intel’s executive reply to a question about Apple’s plan to use Core i5 in upcoming MacBook Pro by saying, he didn’t want to launch or give details about unannounced Apple products. However, with this promotional email Intel has done exactly that.
