Verizon Announces iPhone 4

Verizon’s Lowell Macadam along with Apple’s Tim Cook today announced the first iPhone for Verizon. Tim Cook said at Verizon iPhone launch “I am incredibly happy to be with you all today. We've been looking forward to today for a long time. Since 2007 the iPhone has been a phenomenal success.”

The hardware configuration of the iPhone 4 will remain same with Retina Display, 5-megapixel storage, A4 processor and 16GB or 32GB storage, except now it will come with CDMA support for Verizon. Also iPhone on Verizon will support mobile hotspot feature for up to 5 devices.

Verizon iPhone 4 will be available for pre-order starting February 3rd and will be in stores on February 10th. It will be priced $199 for 16GB model and $299 for 32GB model with two-year service agreement. You can get more information on Verizon’s website.
